70 St Mary Axe
70 St Mary Axe is an iconic building in the City of London.
A high-performance coated, extra-clear glass, was chosen to glaze the facade of 70 St Mary Axe.
This 21-storey, BREEAM Excellent office building is the latest skyscraper to be completed in the very heart of the City of London.
The distinctive semi-elliptical shape of the building ensures its status as an iconic architectural form.
Over 12,000m2 of solar control and extra-clear glass was specified thanks to its neutral aesthetics, as well as its excellent light and energy properties.
