Glass for Europe celebrated 55 years of activities

On October 17 in Brussels, Glass for Europe celebrated 55 years of activities with a cocktail event. The anniversary offered the opportunity of the official launch of Glass for Europe’s enlargement to European representatives of building glass transformers and processors. On this occasion, Glass for Europe also unveiled its new visual identity.

Almost 100 guests took part to the event. Colleagues from the different glass sectors, as well as industrial stakeholders and Brussels based NGOs with whom Glass for Europe cooperates on several dossiers, enjoyed the event in an open and relaxed atmosphere. Moreover, the participation of several policy officers and Heads of Unit from relevant DGs of the European Commission (Energy efficiency, Enterprise, Environment) and of people working in other insitutions such as the European Parliament and the Economic and Social Committee, confirmed that Glass for Europe keeps on being considered a reliable partner for EU institutions. The event reached its networking goals and conveyed a very positive and modern image of the industry.

The day after the event, a press release was released. Check it out
