Since January 2018, Glass for Europe has the privilege to steer the work of the EEIF – Energy Efficiency Industrial Forum. The Energy Efficiency Industrial Forum (EEIF) is an informal platform of several European industry sectors, which provide energy-efficient products and services and which invest massively in developing the energy efficiency market in the EU. Glass for Europe ensures the secretariat of this informal platform until end the end of the first semester 2018 to ensure that energy-efficiency industrial stakeholders coordinate their policy input in this crucial moment of final negotiations on the Energy Efficiency Directive.
Members of EEIF include: APPLiA, household appliance manufacturing industry; EFIEES, Energy Efficiency Service Companies; Eurima, the European Insulation Manufacturers Association; EPEE, which represents the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump industry; E.V.V.E., an interest group promoting systems to save energy and water in buildings; the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EuroACE); the European Copper Institute; PU-Europe, representing the rigid polyurethane insulation industry and Glass for Europe.
