New video: A journey through our value chain

Glass for Europe is excited to announce the release a new video highlighting the contribution of its members all throughout the value chain of flat glass manufacturing.

The video aims to explain the variety of actors involved in the sector, from global leaders to small businesses. Particular focus is paid to the thousands of SMEs and glass processing and transformation sites that turn flat glass into advanced products fit for buildings, automotives, solar PVs and appliances.

It is this specialized, high-value added work that produces the stunning array products in our sector.

Upcoming legislation such as the Clean Industrial Deal must reflect the importance of this homegrown industry, by boosting strategic sectors like flat glass manufacturing with tangible support measures.
