On 17 September 2022, Glass for Europe participated in the meeting of the Community of Glass Associations within the framework of The Italian Glass Weeks in Milan.
During the event, the different souls of the glass culture discussed and exchanged information about glass realities in the different continents and about the way forward for the International Community of Glass Association. Justin Loup, Technical Regulation and Project Advisor at Glass for Europe, shared with the participants the current challenges of the European flat glass industry and opportunities ahead, and provided reflections on the community’s future project proposals.
Meeting glass stakeholders from different backgrounds is essential to understand the global scientific and industrial work behind glass. It is also an opportunity to get inspired by the work of colleagues from all around the world to find new solutions to todays and future challenges.
