The Docks
Docks Bruxsel is a Shopping District that guarantees a unique urban experience combining leisure activities with shops, food, culture and entertainment.
Designed the Brussels architects a2rc, the project arose on the oldest industrial site in Brussels, where the renowned Godin stove factory was once located. The project fits perfectly within the plan to renew the northern district of Brussels with a nod to the past. The industrial past of the capital is reflected in the contemporary design created by Art&Build and executed by the teams of BESIX and BPC. Thanks to the application of ecologically responsible techniques, Docks Bruxsel is the first European shopping center to receive the BREEAM Excellent certificate.
The glass used in this project is solar control glass on the roof and thermal insulating glass to dress the facade of the Docks shopping center in Brussels.
